NOISE POLUTION is everywhere and it is effecting our health by disrupting our sleep patterns and damaging our hearing.

Welcome to the website to help Stop the Noise, where you too can sound off and petition local governments to put an end to the incessant noise pollution plaguing our cities and towns. Noise pollution comes form cars, motorbikes, construction and service equipment, unruly neighbors, airplanes, and a whole host of other frustrating sources.

Besides just being annoying, noise pollution can be a serious threat to our health by disrupting sleep patterns, causing undue stress (which is a known heart attack risk factor), damaging our hearing (and that of our kids!), causing lost worker productivity from lost sleep, and leading to family strife and divorce. All side effects of noise.

This website will address one cause that seems rampant within our cities, that of noise from un-muffled motorcycles like Harley Davidson’s, and vehicles with performance exhaust kits or non at all.

For those who live in the inner city of most municipalities, late nights can be hell for one's peaceful sleep as such noise breaks the night silence with these jerk-offs racing up and down streets with a childish adrenaline rush, totally oblivious and uncaring about who they disturb with their macho noise polluters. It’s time to STOP THE NOISE!!!!!

We are simply asking for you to sign our petition so we can present our views to local city councils to pass by-laws that will outlaw such noise polluters. We would like to see a requirement for all vehicles to be restricted in the maximum noise output to that of most passenger vehicles equipped with standard stock mufflers. Offenders will be ticketed once and will be required to "silence" their vehicles within 30 days or risk having their vehicles impounded until such modifications are completed.
